Festive spinach tortillas with veggies, cheese, and creamy spread, shaped like Christmas trees and crisped.
# Ingredient List:
→ Wraps
01 - 4 large spinach tortillas or regular flour tortillas
→ Spread
02 - 3.5 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons sour cream
04 - 1 clove garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste
→ Veggies
07 - ½ red bell pepper, finely diced
08 - ½ yellow bell pepper, finely diced
09 - 1 small carrot, julienned or grated
10 - 1.75 oz baby spinach leaves, roughly chopped
11 - 1.75 oz shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
→ Toppings & Garnish
12 - 16 pretzel sticks for tree trunks
13 - Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, for snowy effect)
14 - 1 small yellow bell pepper, sliced into star shapes
# Steps:
01 - Combine cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, chopped chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
02 - Lay each tortilla flat and evenly spread one-quarter of the cream cheese mixture over the surface.
03 - Distribute chopped spinach, julienned carrot, diced red and yellow bell peppers, and shredded cheese evenly over each tortilla.
04 - Roll each tortilla tightly. Using a sharp knife, slice each wrap into 2 to 3 diagonal sections to create tree-shaped pieces.
05 - Insert a pretzel stick into the base of each wrap piece to form the tree trunk.
06 - Use a small star-shaped cutter to create stars from the sliced yellow bell pepper and press one onto the top of each wrap tree.
07 - Sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds over the wraps to resemble snow, if desired.
08 - Set the air fryer to 350°F (180°C) and allow it to preheat.
09 - Arrange the wrap pieces cut-side up in the air fryer basket without overcrowding and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until crisp and lightly golden.
10 - Let the wraps cool briefly before serving to allow flavors to settle.
